Next week we are going to be starting our Jump Rope unit. The students will learn about what makes their heart healthy and why exercise is so important. We will learn all sorts of different ways to jump rope.
We will be sending envelopes home to raise money for the American Heart Association. It is so important to donate to this organization because Heart disease is a huge problem in our society. Many children have heart defects and it is such a financial burden. Donating would help families and anyone who suffers from heart problems. Our goal this year is $4,000.

The students just finished a Volleyball Unit. We had so much fun learning all the rules and different skills. I hope the students will play during summer or maybe at the Community center. We will be having free choice this week. The students love to pick different activities during this time.
